About Clarity Digital

Hi, I’m David Cotie, the owner and operator of Clarity Digital. I have been working in the I.T. field for 20+ years. Over those years I have met, worked with, and helped so many talented, successful, interesting people coming from every industry and walk of life. I have had the opportunity to see my work bring peace of mind and much needed efficiency to so many amazing clients and have become a trusted tech problem solver to most.

I believe words have power so I wanted to choose a name for my company that reflected my philosophy regarding technology and helping people. I think ‘Clarity’ sums that up perfectly. A perfectionist at heart, my work has always revolved around making things right. I just hate knowing there are folks gnashing their teeth every day dealing with something that is an unnecessary frustration.

I started my career as a web developer. Soon I was doing network administration and desktop support. As my experience grew I became an expert in all things Mac, adding yet another sought after skill to my growing resumé.

In recent years I have become well-known and trusted in the local restaurant community, helping frustrated, busy restaurateurs sort out the tech side of their businesses. Be it changing P.O.S systems or fixing terrible wireless, generally it’s about taking the tech burden off their shoulders.

It comes down to fixing what doesn’t work, solving annoying situations and making sure all your stuff is safe, stable and working. Backups, fantastic email, wireless that doesn’t suck. That’s what I’m all about.
